Supreme Governor Terry Walls visits Cut Bank Lodge #334
On Saturday June 11th, Cut Bank Moose Lodge #334 was honored for the second year in a row to host a Supreme Governor of the Loyal Order of Moose. Supreme Governor Terry Walls was on hand for the enrollment of 4 new moose legionnaires and presented the R. Robert Dale Scholarship winner with her certificate along with handing out the local lodge scholarships.
Montana Moose Association President Albert Mohs of Kalispell was another dignitary in attendance today for Triangle Moose Legion #113 celebration. Others here for the celebration were International Moose Legion Ambassador for Montana, Randy Young of Conrad and Deputy Supreme Governor Tom Armstrong. Those enrolled during the celebration were Doug Martinez, Mitch Haas, Jesse Fey, & Pat Fey.

Following the celebration was our annual scholarship dinner. Again, for the second year in a row we were honored to have the $1000 R. Robert Dale scholarship winner for Montana and that was Dakota Dosch. Miss Dosch was also one or the three young adults earning a $500 Cut Bank Lodge Scholarship. Miss Mattison Coen and Mr. Nate Wynn were the other honored students.
A delicious chicken dinner was prepared by the local firemen who are also members of the lodge and their wives. When the dinner and presentations were concluded, Mark Ayers put on a wonderful game of trivia. There were 15 teams participating with the T & A team of Territory Manager- Jeff Gutowski and MMA President Albert Mohs. They won a whopping $30 payday and graciously donated it to Moose Charities. Supreme Governor Walls expressed that he really enjoyed trivia and also commented on how young and active our membership is. Also Territory Manager Jeff was going to look into getting a system for the Gt. Falls lodge. It was a great day with a lot of great people.

Hello Brothers & Co-Workers

We have two new social quarter attendants at the lodge. Stop in and meet them.

Congrats to Eddie Swensen who received the Moose of the Year award for Cut Bank.l at the recent Annual State Convention held in Conrad. Your Lodge also was awarded the Premier Lodge Award for the State. This is 4 years of the last 5 we have won this award.

Thank you to all who have purchased raffle tickets to help our Lodge and the State Association.
Georgie Hensley won $100. The $500 went to somebody in Conrad.

Your Lodge applied for a Moose International grant this past spring and lo and behold we were awarded a grant of $14,400 to repair the roof. This project will be starting soon.

The Lodge lower level flooded during the heavy rains during June during the street work and a lot of gravel washed in. Everything has finally been replaced and cleaned up. Thanks a million to Pete Halvorson and his crew of Jerry Rehmer.

Stop in the Lodge and see what's new. Gary

See you at the lodge - Gary
